Maria trains delegates on all of our programmes, in particular the Professional Development Days and specialist workshops. Maria cofounded CUK, and now runs CUK as Managing Director. Maria contributes to professional publications and consults on services development and change management projects for the NHS throughout the UK and Ireland.
Victoria is the CUK Office Manager. She looks after all our clients, the CUK team and manages the day to day operations. She is the person you can direct all your queries to.
Wendy’s an experienced investigator that has 18 years experience in risk management and 10 years in quality governance. As a local security management specialist. Wendy trains delegates on our 1 and 2 day workshops, and delivers bespoke courses for Care Home Teams
Sam has been an Associate with CUK for the past 8 years, delivering training to a wide group of audiences on both the 1- and 2-day programmes. Sam is a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor by background and has many years experience in Risk Management and Clinical Governance. Her most recent role in the NHS was a Quality Lead for Offender Healthcare
Trained as an Occupational Therapist, Rebecca has worked in the NHS for 30 years in senior operational and clinical positions within general and forensic mental health services. She manages serious incidents and learning processes, leading on many RCA investigations, and is a Clinical Audit Lead. Rebecca is passionate about the process of learning from incidents and improving care to patients, their families and carers
Sarah has worked in social care for 23 years with a background in social work with people with learning disabilities, mental health, dual diagnosis and forensics. For the past 8 years she has specialised in adult protection and has written a national safeguarding training resource and contributed towards the development of the national safeguarding adults’ framework. Sarah is currently works for a local authority leading on large scale investigations and has written extensive practitioner guidance on investigating safeguarding concerns. Sarah is also studying for an MA in the Dynamics of Domestic Violence.

Bryony has worked in the NHS for 30 years, with two decades, worth of experience in operational management positions within adult, older people’s and child and adolescent mental health services. As a General Manager taking part in incident reviews and Serious Untoward Incident Inquiries, Bryony has developed a passionate commitment to understanding how these facilitate team learning, and ensuring that users and carers experience is included properly in the process
